Product Description

A Crimson Tradition
On January 7, 2010 the Alabama Crimson Tide trampled the Texas Longhorns (37-21) in the BCS National Championship game at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. This image shows Coach Saban paying homage to Wallace Wade, Frank Thomas, Paul "Bear" Bryant, and Gene Stallings as he joins these legendary coaches as the master builders of the "Crimson Tradition." These four coaches are subtly rendered within the facets of the crystal football trophy. Vignettes of the game’s key plays surround Coach Saban to signify that the trophy is the fulfillment of Saban’s "process."

Autographed Editions Available:  Each Autographed print has been personally signed by Eryk Anders, Kareem Jackson and Mike Johnson.

IN SOME PLACES FOOTBALL IS A SPORT
IN ALABAMA FOOTBALL IS A FINE ART.

Regular Edition Lithograph – The Regular Edition is the most widely produced edition. These prints are produced by a 4-color process known as offset-lithography. This “mass-production” process utilizes small red, green, blue and black dots to approximate the colors of the original artwork. Additional single color touch plates may be added to the printing to enhance colors closer to those of the original painting. Our lithographs are printed on acid-free archival paper, using permanent inks.

Each Regular Edition Lithograph has an image area of approximately 19½” x 26” and is hand-signed and numbered in pencil by the artist in the lower margin of the print.  Each Regular Edition Lithograph is accompanied by a Certificate of Limited Edition & 1 gold embossed seal.

Artist's Proof Lithograph– The Artist's Proof Edition is a much more limited edition, further enhancing its collectibility.

Each Artist's Proof Edition Lithograph has an image area of approximately 19½” x 26” and is hand-signed and numbered in pencil by the artist in the lower margin of the print.  Each Artist's Proof Lithograph is accompanied by a Certificate of Limited Edition & 2 gold embossed seals.

Museum Edition Lithograph (strictly limited to 100 prints) - The Museum Edition is an even more limited edition than the Artist's Proof Edition, further enhancing its collectibility.

Each Museum Edition has an image area of approximately 19½” x 26” and is hand-signed and numbered in ink by the artist in the lower margin of the print. Each Museum Edition Giclée is accompanied by a Certificate of Limited Edition & 3 gold embossed seals.

A portion of the proceeds from each Museum Edition goes to support the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame and Museum located in Birmingham, Alabama.
